The Invitation to Friends Abroad

The English Speaking Society, a kind of an English club, of Senyo Senior High School has started a mailing list, Friends Abroad, to support the students to communicate globally. By the end of the year 2012, more than 100 students are taking part in the mailing list from Bulgaria, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, Taiwan, and the Netherland as well as Japan.

Friends Abroad ----- for supporting teachers

The mailing list, Friends Abroad, has been set up to enable high school students communicate with other high school students who live and study in other countries. Please notice that, when students join, their teacher's e-mail address will be put on teachers' mailing list, which has been set up for the overseeing teachers to exchange information and ideas, and also on the students' mailing list itself to oversee the progress of the participant students' communication.

Friends Abroad ----- for students

This mailing list, Friends Abroad, has been set up to enable high school students communicate with other high school students who live and study in other countries. The participating students are supposed to obey the following rules: 1 Please don’t forget writing your name, your high school’s name, and your country’s name at the end of your mail. 2 Please treat all friends with courtesy, as you would hope them to treat you. 3 Please keep your writings off sensitive subjects like religion, sex, or politics. 4 Please report anything you see that is offensive or that concerns you to your teacher. 5 Please follow your teacher’s advice. 6 Please note that you are advised to follow the rules and to keep the contents of the mailing list strictly within the circle, and that failure to follow all the rules will result to the student being expelled from the mailing list. 7 Please notice us when you graduate from your high school or would like to quit from this mailing list. Your subscription will be stopped within a week.
